Annual Campaign Be an Ambassador Volunteer - call or visit local businesses, sign letters, or participate in projects and events. Day of Caring Planning Committee Communicate with United Way agencies, other non-profits, and civic leaders to arrange projects; recruit volunteers; ensure that necessary materials are provided; coordinate any details for the day of the event. Meets monthly until the day. Food For Your Neighbors Volunteer opportunities include securing food drop-off locations, calling on businesses, schools and other organizations to encourage participation, arranging food deliveries to depots, and promoting the drive to the media. Will meet 3 or 4 times before March. Golf Committee Plans the annual golf tournament. Volunteers are needed to recruit golfers, sponsors, and raffle prizes. Also helps with set up on the day of the event. Meets monthly until May Marketing Committee Develops campaign material (brochures, posters) and an advertising campaign. Meets monthly or as needed.
