Torrington Restaurant Week Kickoff Raises More Than $1,200 for United Way of Northwest Connecticut

The United Way of Northwest Connecticut is grateful for the tremendous support shown during the Torrington Restaurant Week Kickoff Event held on June 18 at Bad Dog Brewing Company.

The event brought together community members, local businesses, and restaurant owners to celebrate the start of Torrington Restaurant Week while supporting an important cause. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and participating partners, the kickoff event raised more than $1,200 to support United Way programs and initiatives throughout Northwest Connecticut.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Torrington Downtown Partners for organizing this outstanding event and for selecting United Way of Northwest Connecticut as the beneficiary. We would also like to thank Bad Dog Brewing Company for hosting the kickoff celebration and the many local restaurants participating in Torrington Restaurant Week.

Events like this demonstrate the power of community collaboration. When local businesses, nonprofits, and residents come together, they create meaningful opportunities to strengthen our region and support neighbors in need.

Torrington Restaurant Week continues through June 27, offering residents and visitors the chance to experience the diverse and vibrant dining scene that makes Torrington such a special place. We encourage everyone to support the participating restaurants and enjoy all that Restaurant Week has to offer.

On behalf of the United Way of Northwest Connecticut, thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event a success. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community.
