The 2nd Annual Miniature Golf Classic Raises Over $5,000 for the Community

The United Way of Northwest Connecticut is thrilled to announce that our 2nd Annual Miniature Golf Classic, held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, a1 R&B Sports World, was a tremendous success, raising more than $5,000 to support local programs that help families, children, and individuals throughout Northwest Connecticut.

The event brought together community members, local businesses, volunteers, and sponsors for an afternoon filled with friendly competition, great food, and plenty of fun—all while supporting an important cause.

Participants enjoyed a spirited round of miniature golf while connecting with friends, neighbors, and fellow supporters. The event also featured delicious cheeseburger sliders and fries generously provided by The Rawley Grill, helping make the day even more memorable.

The United Way extends its sincere appreciation to our event sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who attended. Their generosity and commitment to strengthening our communities made this event possible.

The more than $5,000 raised will help support United Way of Northwest Connecticut’s work to improve lives by investing in local initiatives that address critical needs, strengthen families, and create opportunities for people throughout the region.

Events like the Miniature Golf Classic demonstrate what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Every participant, sponsor, volunteer, and donor played a part in making a lasting impact.

Thank you for helping us make our second annual tournament our biggest success yet. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for the 3rd Annual United Way of Northwest Connecticut Miniature Golf Classic!
