The United Way of Northwest Connecticut had its 35th annual charity Golf Tournament on Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Torrington Country Club in Goshen, Connecticut.
The Golf Tournament raised $12,040 which included $1,480 through raffle prizes. 57 golfers participated, and all proceeds benefit United Way Community Impact projects.

The United Way 35th annual charity Golf Tournament standings are as follows: first place went to Team Nejaime members Mike Nejaime, Dave Murelli, Jim Chayka, and Rob Crovo.
Second place went to Team Thomaston Savings Bank members Tony Ponte, AJ Ruwet, Jim Nichol, and Dave Segal.
$25 prizes were given for the Longest Drive to Greg Tonon of the Northwest Community Bank and Mary Gilhuly of the Community Mental Health Affiliates.

The United Way of Northwest Connecticut serves the 26 towns in the Northwest Corner through its 26 participating agencies and programs. The agency’s annual fundraising campaign benefits almost 60,000 people.
