The
United Way of Northwest Connecticut has set up food collection
depots in Torrington, Winsted, and Canaan. Our goal is to collect
enough food to carry our area food banks through the winter.
Food collected will remain in
towns where collected, and will be distributed to FISH, Friendly
Hands Food Bank, Torrington and Winsted Salvation Army Food Banks,
and Fishes & Loaves in North Canaan.
